Romans 11 raises once the question, "What about Israel?" Will they be saved and who is Israel? On one hand, the question is a mystery to us. On the other, God desires that we not be ignorant. Romans 12 begins, "Therefore, in view of God's mercy..." The answer to the question, "What about Israel?" is meant to give us a view of God's mercy.
